Boston Marathon bomber Tamerlan Tsarvaev’s final words — spoken over the telephone while police fired down a Watertown, Mass., street — weren’t terror tough talk.
“Mama, I love you,” he said, and the line went dead, his mother, Zubeidat Tsarnaev told ABC News.
In fact, the sniveling suspect behind the bombings that killed three and wounded more than 160 bystanders, sobbed to his mother: “The police, they have started shooting at us, they are chasing us,” Mrs. Tsarnaev told ABC.
“I lost two sons,” she added. “My family is in the dirt.”
Tamerlan was killed in a shootout with police in Watertown, while his brother — Boston bombing Suspect No. 2, Dzhokhar — was discovered the following day in a backyard boat, hiding and wounded.
Dzhokhar is recovering in a Boston hospital from injuries some believe are self-inflicted and has recently started communicating with investigators in writing. He has been charged in the attack in civilian court - and may face the death penalty.

He told investigators, CNN reported, that his brother — and not an international terror group — was the brains behind the Boston Marathon terror attacks.
The mother, an ethnic Chechen, said she wanted to fly to the United States to be with her surviving son, but doubted authorities would let her, The New York Daily News reported.
Like her husband, Anzor Tsarnaev, she also believes her sons were framed for the bombings and are completely innocent, The New York Daily News reported.
