Colorado Springs police arrested on Thursday the second white supremacist gang member whose name surfaced during investigations into the killing of Colorado prison chief, Tom Clements.
Thomas Guolee, 31, was taken into custody around 5:30 p.m., The Associated Press reported. Last week, James Lohr, 47, was arrested after leading police on a brief chase in Colorado Springs on charges that includes vehicular eluding, AP said. Both men are reported members of the 211 Crew gang.
Police have yet to release details of Mr. Guolee’s arrest. Neither man has been named a suspect into the shooting. Their arrests — the details and charges for which are still unclear — are due to the fact that their names were mentioned during the course of the investigation. Police then discovered both had outstanding warrants that were unrelated to Mr. Clements’ killing, AP said.
Evan Ebel, who died during a shootout with Texas police, is the only named suspect in Mr. Clements’ death so far. He’s also believed to have killed pizza delivery man Nathan Leon, AP said.
Police think Mr. Lohr may have been in contact with Mr. Ebel in the days before the fatal shootings, AP reported.
