SINGAPORE (AP) - Races in Singapore, Germany, and South Korea plus the new grand prix in New Jersey are on a provisional calendar for the 2013 Formula One season.

The provisional venues and dates were circulated to teams at the Singapore Grand Prix, seeking feedback ahead of official confirmation at the FIA’s World Motor Sports Council next week.

Singapore’s contract expires this year, with an announcement expected Saturday on whether it will continue next season. South Korea’s grand prix and Germany’s race at the financially troubled Nurburgring are also subject to contract negotiations, while the New Jersey race was given a mid-June date provided the circuit was completed.

The season will start March 17 in Australia and finish Nov. 24 in Brazil.

The only race dropping out is Valencia, which starting next season will alternate with Barcelona as host of the Spanish GP rather than both having a race. That leaves Europe with only seven of 20 races.

The provisional calendar retains a long mid-season break between the Hungarian GP on July 28 and Belgian GP on Sept. 1.
