A man was fatally shot Wednesday night in Southeast D.C., according to the Metropolitan Police Department.
The shooting occurred around 8:20 p.m. in the 4200 block of 1st Street Southeast, in the Bellevue neighborhood that abuts Bolling Air Force Base.
The man was shot in the face, according to police alerts. Police are looking for a male gunman who fled the scene.
No further details about the shooting, nor the shooting victim’s identity, were immediately available Thursday.
