INDIANAPOLIS (AP) - Indianapolis Colts coach Chuck Pagano has been diagnosed with an undisclosed illness and could miss Sunday’s game against Green Bay.
A person with knowledge of the situation confirmed the illness Monday. The person spoke on condition of anonymity to The Associated Press because the team had not released details yet.
The Colts have scheduled a morning news conference with owner Jim Irsay, general manage Ryan Grigson and a doctor.
The 51-year-old Pagano is in his first season as a head coach. He was hired in January after serving as the Baltimore Ravens’ defensive coordinator.
Pagano earned his first win Sept. 16 against the Vikings. The Colts (1-2) had a bye last weekend.
The illness was first reported by The Indianapolis Star.
