FOXBOROUGH, MASS. (AP) - New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady says it’s time to put the team’s Super Bowl loss behind and start thinking about the upcoming NFL season.

Brady spoke to reporters at the Patriots’ stadium today after one of their organized team activities.

Brady says that as he gets older he begins to appreciate his opportunities to play football even more. Part of that comes from missing almost the entire 2008 season with a knee injury. That was the year after the Patriots blew a chance at a perfect 19-0 season when they lost to the New York Giants in the Super Bowl.

New England lost to the Giants again in the title game last year.

Brady says the loss stayed with him for a while.
