OPINION:
Now the Obama campaign is hitting Mitt Romney with Donald Trump’s “birther” claims (“GOP’s Trump card,” Commentary, Thursday).
This is great because if President Obama’s people can go after Mr. Romney’s association with Mr. Trump over the “birther” issue, I assume it’s fair for the Republicans to bring up all the terrorists, communists, socialists and America-hating racists Mr. Obama has been associated with.
If this is a birds-of-a-feather test, Mr. Romney will win hands down.
