Police received a report of a jumper Tuesday evening shortly before authorities pulled a man’s body from the Potomac River, according to the Metropolitan Police Department.

The man, who was pulled from the river from underneath the 14th Street Bridge around 5 p.m., has not been identified, MPD spokeswoman Officer Tisha Gant.

The man’s body has been transported to the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner for an autopsy.
