I am scared to death of what our president is doing. Why? Mainly because I am firmly convinced that as long as Barack Obama is president, there will be neither a significant economic recovery nor a return to prosperity.

Mr. Obama and the Democrats are anti-business and he insists on raising taxes and increasing regulation (including the odious Obamacare) instead of encouraging business by doing the opposite. He also refuses to cut out-of-control government spending, which taps investment energy away from private enterprise and undermines the very solvency of the nation.

The president is also willfully driving up the price of energy by using the Environmental Protection Agency to shut down coal-burning plants and by preventing an increase in domestic production of oil, natural gas, coal and nuclear energy. America cannot compete in the world marketplace without a stable and cheap energy supply.

What scares me the most is that Mr. Obama and the Democrats don’t seem to care about the economic impact of their policies.
