CAP D’ANTIBES, FRANCE (AP) - Janet Jackson, Alec Baldwin and Adrien Brody have brought a touch of Hollywood glamour to the south of France for amfAR’s Cinema Against AIDS gala.
Jackson and Baldwin co-chaired the annual event Thursday along with “The Artist” star Berenice Bejo, Bollywood actress Aishwarya Rai and singer Kylie Minogue.
“We’re in one of the most beautiful places in the world and we’re doing something that’s positive,” said Brody, the Academy Award-winning actor, on the red carpet at the Cannes Film Festival charity soiree held in nearby Cap D’Antibes, France.
The evening included performances by British songstress Jessie J and U.S. rock band fun., as well as a live auction and runway show to benefit the American Foundation for AIDS Research.
