Grade: B+

“President Obama still leads his main GOP challenger Mitt Romney and his approval rating is averaging 48%, with some polls over 50%. The unemployment rate, weekly applications for unemployment, and the consumer confidence index remain not great, but at least stable. Iran now wants to talk again and Israeli President Shimon Peres says his country doesn’t really want to attack Iran’s nuclear facilities. And Rush Limbaugh is working overtime to deliver young women to the polls for Obama. For newcomers to this column: it is a weekly measure and can change. I can be a tough grader, but this is a good week for the President.”
