NEW ORLEANS (AP) - Different team, same old foe for John Calipari.

Calipari and his Kentucky juggernaut will face Kansas for the national championship Monday night. That would be the same Kansas team that beat Memphis in overtime for the NCAA title in 2008, back when Calipari was coaching the Tigers. That is Calipari’s only other appearance in the national championship game.

Top-seeded Kentucky (37-2) held off pesky Louisville 69-61 in the first game Saturday night to get back to the title game for the first time since 1998, when it won its seventh NCAA championship.

Kansas ((32-6) then made a furious second-half comeback to beat Ohio State 64-62. The Jayhawks will be seeking their fourth national title, second in five years.
