Is no one in Congress listening to the people? It is incomprehensible that Congress and the president approved the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act of 2010. There is mounting evidence that the fiscal impact of the law was underestimated deliberately and that a Democratic Congress sold out the taxpayers to buy votes from a certain segment of the population.

Congress abandoned all fiscal responsibility when it passed this law. How is it possible, when the Social Security system is under extraordinary strain, Medicare and Medicaid are in serious trouble, the baby boomers are enrolling in these programs in unprecedented numbers and there are enormous budget deficits, that Congress would create another monstrous welfare program?

The insanity continues. The old guard needs to be voted out. Corruption and blind loyalty to party politics are destroying this country, and day after day, week after week, month after month, the same pols stay in power and continue to lay the groundwork for our destruction. If you think the economy is bad now, hang around, because you haven’t seen anything yet if we allow those in power to continue.

Every member of Congress who voted for the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act should be voted out of office. Americans must be sure to vote in state primaries and the general election in November.
