Betty White has a suggestion for longtime friend Carl Reiner as he marks his 90th birthday: “Milk it.”

Mr. Reiner plays Miss White’s boyfriend Max on the TV Land sitcom “Hot in Cleveland” and turned 90 Tuesday. Miss White’s 90th birthday was in January.

Miss White and Mr. Reiner have a special connection: The actress’s late husband, Allen Ludden, served with Mr. Reiner in World War II.

Miss White’s birthday wish for Mr. Reiner is continued good health so he can keep acting and writing. She suggested that he should have people spoil him rotten.

Mr. Reiner created “The Dick Van Dyke Show.”

Variety show producer Bob Henry dies at 92

Bob Henry, a producer and director of television variety shows, including “The Nat King Cole Show” and “The Flip Wilson Show,” has died.

A Tuesday statement from the Pageant of the Masters art festival, where he was a director, said Mr. Henry died Sunday at his home in Laguna Beach, Calif. He was 92.

Mr. Henry worked in television for more than five decades and was noted for bringing black performers such as Cole and Wilson to a wider audience. He produced, directed and wrote 1956’s “Nat King Cole Show” for NBC. Several network affiliates refused to air it because of its black star.

Charges against ’Teen Mom’ star dropped

Charges of making threats and harassing phone calls have been dropped against the North Carolina woman who stars on the MTV reality show “Teen Mom 2.”

The StarNews of Wilmington reported that the charges against 21-year-old Jenelle Evans were dismissed this week in Brunswick County court in her home state.

Miss Evans’ attorney, Dustin Sullivan, said the woman who filed the charges decided she did not want to pursue them.

The “Teen Mom” show documents the challenges of four teens’ first years of motherhood.
