PARIS (AP) - Two decades later, John and Patrick McEnroe got the act back together.

The brothers teamed up at the French Open for the over-45 legends doubles competition, beating Andres Gomez and Emilio Sanchez 6-2, 6-2 Wednesday.

Playing on Court 1 at Roland Garros, the McEnroes exchanged palm slaps after winning points. Every so often, John’s yells of “Yours!” could be heard over the din of the crowd.

Patrick’s 45; John is 53. They hadn’t played doubles together since winning the title at the Paris Masters in November 1992, beating Patrick Galbraith and Danie Visser in the final.

John won nine Grand Slam men’s doubles championships and seven in singles. Patrick teamed with Jim Grabb to win the 1989 French Open men’s doubles title.
