SAN DIEGO (AP) - The Arizona Diamondbacks have reinstated outfielder Jason Kubel from the paternity list on Friday.
Kubel was placed on the list on Wednesday to return to Phoenix for the birth of his second child, Heidi Evelyn.
The Diamondbacks also optioned outfielder A.J. Pollock to Triple-A Reno. Pollock, who was called up on Wednesday, did not appear in a game in his second stint this season with Arizona.
