Braves third baseman Chipper Jones is replacing Dodgers outfielder Matt Kemp on the NL All-Star roster, potentially improving Bryce Harper’s chances of making the All-Star Game.

Jones, the sentimental choice in his final season before retirement, had been leading the NL Final Vote competition as of Tuesday afternoon, with the Cardinals’ David Freese second and Harper third.
