INDIANAPOLIS (AP) - Eli Manning isn’t the only Giant who has joined the NFL’s elite ranks.
The entire New York Giants receiving has sprinted there, even offering a little entertainment in the process.
Victor Cruz, Hakeem Nicks and Mario Manningham give Tom Coughlin’s team a 1-2-3 punch that can rival any team in the league, and it might be the Giants’ biggest advantage on offense in the Super Bowl against the New England Patriots on Sunday.
The previously obscure Cruz is coming off a record-setting season. Nicks had another 1,000-yard season and Manningham is finally healthy after battling a knee injury much of the year.
For the up-and-down Patriots defense and secondary in particular, that’s one big headache.
