CAMBRIDGE, Mass. — Laurent Rivard and Steve Moundou-Missi scored 16 points apiece to lead Harvard to a 69-48 win over George Washington on Saturday.
Rivard was 4 of 5 from the field, 3 of 4 from 3-point range and 5 of 5 from the free throw line. Moundou-Missi made all seven of his attempts from the field, including his only 3-point attempt, and his lone free throw on a three-point play gave Harvard a 47-28 lead with 12:07 left in the second half.
Harvard (14-2) shot 64.9 percent (24 of 37) from the field compared to just 30 percent (15 of 50) for George Washington.
Keith Wright, who was perfect from the field (4 of 4), finished with 11 points and eight rebounds for the Crimson.
Tony Taylor led George Washington (6-10) with 13 points but was 3 of 12 from the field and missed all three of his 3-point attempts.
