NEW YORK (AP) - Movie star Michael Douglas might be the FBI’s newest and most famous turncoat.

He’s not wearing a badge in a public service announcement unveiled for television Monday, but he might as well be. The commercial denounces corporate greed after opening with a flashback to a famous scene from the film “Wall Street.”

In it, Douglas’ character Gordon Gekko reminds television audiences that “Greed is good.”

The PSA then cuts to Douglas, who says: “The movie was fiction but the problem is real.”

The commercial is part of an ongoing offensive by federal authorities in New York against insider trading. The crackdown has resulted in multiple convictions.
