NEW YORK (AP) - The Colorado Rockies have activated right-hander Jhoulys Chacin from the disabled list to make his first start in more than three months.

Chacin was set to start Tuesday night against the New York Mets. Outfielder Eric Young Jr. was put on the 15-day disabled list with a strain on his left side.

Chacin made his last appearance for the Rockies on May 1. He’s been out of the majors since then because of inflammation in his right shoulder.

The 24-year-old Chacin is 0-3 with a 7.30 ERA in five games for Colorado this season.

Young is hitting .316 with four home runs, 15 RBIs and 14 stolen bases.
