NEW YORK (AP) - Police say a Canadian actress accused of stalking Alec Baldwin sent him a string of emails begging him to marry her.
One said, “Say I do to me.” In another, she referred to him as her “husband,” according to court papers.
Genevieve Sabourin (JEHN’-uh-veev SAB’-oo-rin) was arraigned on aggravated harassment and stalking charges Monday, a day after her arrest in New York City.
Police say Sabourin crashed a film screening Baldwin was hosting on April 5 and had to be thrown out by security guards.
A day later she sent another email to the actor saying, “I hope I did not ruin everything,” according to court papers.
Sabourin’s lawyer at the arraignment was Julie Sender. She says her client and Baldwin had a two-year “mutual relationship.”
