ORCHARD PARK, N.Y. (AP) - Buffalo Bills rookie cornerback Aaron Williams was taken off the field on a stretcher after he sustained a chest injury in the third quarter of Buffalo’s game against the New England Patriots.

Williams, the Bills’ second-round pick, was hurt on Patriots receiver Wes Welker’s 23-yard reception with 2:37 left. On the play, Patriots quarterback Tom Brady set the NFL record for most yards passing over a three-game stretch.

The Bills said Williams would not return.
