We are only now being made aware of President Obama’s circumvention of Congress, yet again, to move forward on what is considered immigration amnesty.

The president is using “prosecutorial discretion” through the Department of Homeland Security and U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement to restrain the full authority of our immigration laws. This is after Congress repeatedly failed to pass the Dream Act, which would have provided conditional permanent residency to certain illegal-alien students.

This clearly is a move for the president to get his way without the popular support of the nation and Congress. We must ask ourselves this: What is the motive behind the president’s action? I think it is pretty clear: He has no regard for our laws, the Constitution, the will of the people or members of Congress.

Mr. Obama continues his pursuit of a favorable presidential election vote in 2012 - at any cost. If we weren’t so close to an election, impeachment should be considered by Congress to address his dictatorial tendencies.
