ALAMEDA, Calif. — Suspended Oakland Raiders quarterback Terrelle Pryor had a hearing with commissioner Roger Goodell to overturn his five-game ban.
Pryor met with Goodell and members of his staff on Thursday. Pryor’s agent, Drew Rosenhaus, says it was a productive meeting and that he appreciated Goodell and the union taking time to meet with Pryor. Rosenhaus said he expected to get a ruling shortly.

• BEARS: Linebacker Brian Urlacher was back on the field Thursday, a day after missing practice following the sudden death of his mother, Lavoyda Lenard, at her home in Texas. Urlacher is expected to play Sunday at New Orleans.
• RAMS: Steven Jackson has not ruled himself out for the Monday night game against the New York Giants. Jackson strained his right quadriceps on a 47-yard scoring run on the Rams’ first offensive play of the season during Sunday’s loss to the Philadelphia Eagles. Jackson said Thursday the injury has improved, but he hasn’t practiced yet this week.
• TITANS: Safety Chris Hope has missed a second straight practice, and coach Mike Munchak says whether the veteran plays Sunday against Baltimore will depend on how quickly his shoulder strengthens after he popped it out in Tennessee’s opener. Hope finished the 16-14 loss at Jacksonville with the shoulder back in place, and he had an MRI exam Monday.
• JETS: Linebacker David Harris did not practice because of a toe injury, while wide receiver Santonio Holmes was limited in practice with a sore knee and quadriceps, but both are expected to play Sunday against Jacksonville.
