NEWARK, N.J. (AP) - Goaltender Martin Brodeur has been taken off injured reserve by the New Jersey Devils after being sidelined more than two weeks with a bruised right shoulder.

Brodeur practiced with the Devils on Monday and could play on Wednesday when they play host to the Toronto Maple Leafs at the Prudential Center.

The 39-year-old Brodeur was hurt on Oct. 13 making a diving stop against the Los Angeles Kings in the first period. He finished the period and was replaced by Johan Hedberg, who has started the last six games.

The Devils sent Keith Kinkaid back to Albany.
