D.C. police reported at least two robberies Saturday, including one in which a motorist was approached by three suspects wearing masks and yelling “trick or treat.”

At about 8 p.m., the suspects tried to grab the motorist by the shirt and open the door at a traffic light at 13th Street and Arkansas Avenue Northwest. The victim drove off unharmed and the suspects fled the scene, Metropolitan Police Department officials said.

In the other incident, a man was approached in the 5800 block of Eastern Avenue Northeast at about 9:20 p.m. by a man with a handgun demanding money. The victim was forced to walk up the street before a second suspect told him to empty his pockets and continue walking while both men fled the scene.

The suspects are described as black men with stocky builds and light complexions. They are roughly 30 to 35 and about 5 feet, 6 inches tall, police said.
