_ Aaron Rodgers, Packers, passed for 335 yards and three touchdowns in Green Bay’s 33-27 win over Minnesota.

_ Matt Schaub, Texans, threw for 296 yards and two TDs in Houston’s 41-7 win over Tennessee.

_ Rookie Cam Newton, Panthers, had 256 yards passing and a touchdown and ran for 59 more and a score in Carolina’s 33-20 win over Washington.

Rushing

_ Rookie DeMarco Murray, Cowboys, rushed for a franchise-record 253 yards in Dallas’ win over St. Louis.

_ Adrian Peterson, Vikings, rushed 24 times for 175 yards and a touchdown in Minnesota’s 33-27 loss to Green Bay.

_ Arian Foster, Texans, ran for 115 yards and two touchdowns and had 119 yards receiving and a TD in Houston’s 41-7 win over Tennessee. Teammate Ben Tate rushed for 104 yards.

_ Charles Woodson, Packers, had two interceptions in Green Bay’s 33-27 win over Minnesota.

_ Brice McCain, Texans, returned an interception 38 yards for a TD in Houston’s 41-7 win over Tennessee.

_ D.J. Williams, Denver, had a sack to force a fumble and made the recovery in Denver’s 18-15 win over Miami.

STATS

Dallas rookie DeMarco Murray’s 253 yards rushing were the most in the NFL this season and the ninth-most in league history. Emmitt Smith set the club record of 237 yards Oct. 31, 1993, at Philadelphia. … Houston beat Tennessee 41-7 for the largest margin of victory in franchise history. … Arian Foster became the first Texans player with 100 yards rushing and receiving in the same game. Ben Tate gave the Texans two backs with 100 yards in the same game for the first time in their short history. … Chicago’s Matt Forte has a combined 1,089 yards rushing and receiving. Forte is the first player since 2004 to go over 1,000 yards after seven games since Priest Holmes and Tiki Barber in 2004. … The Panthers’ Cam Newton has seven touchdowns rushing, tying the record for rookie quarterbacks since the 1970 NFL-AFL merger set by Vince Young with Tennessee in 2006. … Carolina’s 30-13 lead in the fourth quarter over Washington was its biggest in any game since the end of the 2009 season. … Atlanta’s Tony Gonzalez caught five passes for 62 yards, giving him 1,104 career receptions to trail only Jerry Rice in NFL history _ by 445 catches. STREAKS

The Broncos won for the first time in the eight games they’ve played on the Dolphins’ field. … Miami has lost nine straight games overall and 12 of its past 13 at home. … Washington QB John Beck remains winless in five career starts.

SLOPPY

Kyle Boller became the first Raiders quarterback since Donald Hollas in 1998 to throw three interceptions in the first half. That was also the last time Oakland had a six-INT game. The Chiefs had their first six-interception game since 1984 against Seattle. The Raiders have been shut out at home five times since the start of the 2006 season. Before then, that had happened only once in their history.

SIDELINED

Lions quarterback Matthew Stafford’s right leg was hurt when another player fell on it. He was going to have his knee and ankle checked out. Stafford said he would have attempted to stay in the game if the Lions had regained possession, but Atlanta was able to run out the clock. Washington Redskins receiver Santana Moss and running back Tim Hightower were injured in the loss to Carolina. Moss broke a bone in his left hand in the first half. He wore a bulky wrap as he stood on the sideline. Coach Mike Shanahan said afterward that Moss would miss next week’s game at Buffalo. Houston safety Danieal Manning is hoping he’ll be out only a few weeks after hurting his left leg in Houston’s win over Tennessee.
