Kutcher’s alleged mistress details political pillow talk
Married “Two and a Half Men” star Ashton Kutcher may have seen more in 22-year-old blonde Sara Leal than youth and looks. The 33-year-old actor, who is rumored to have cheated on wife Demi Moore with Miss Leal after a wild party at San Diego’s Hard Rock Hotel, reportedly discussed politics, the president and the upcoming election with the young administrative assistant, according to Us Weekly.
After allegedly sleeping with Mr. Kutcher in his suite last month, Miss Leal reportedly told the celebrity that she was a Lutheran from Texas. This prompted Mr. Kutcher, who supported Democratic presidential nominee John Kerry in 2004, to ask Miss Leal whether she was conservative.
“I was like, ’What, do you like Obama?’ He said, ’Yeah,’ and asked if I could name up-and-coming candidates,” Miss Leal told the publication.
“I said Rick Perry,” Miss Leal said of her home-state governor. “He asked if I’d vote for him. I said I didn’t know and he laughed. He laughed at pretty much everything I said.”
When the political discussion ended, Mr. Kutcher reportedly told Miss Leal, whose parents split when she was 6, to “believe in love” no matter what.
“He was like, ’You just need to believe that stuff is real,’ ” Miss Leal told the magazine.
She added that Mr. Kutcher claimed to be “separated” from Miss Moore.

Moviegoer sues, says ’Drive’ is no ’Fast and Furious’
Not all silver-screen sensations fit their trailers. As some say, the better the trailer, the worse the film. But a Michigan woman is suing the distributors of “Drive,” claiming she was misled into buying a movie ticket for a film that did not live up to its trailer.
Sarah Deming’s lawsuit, filed Sept. 27, also cites “extreme gratuitous defamatory dehumanizing racism directed against members of the Jewish faith.”
She said she felt the movie was advertised as a “Fast and Furious” type, but that it “bore very little similarity to a chase, or race action film … having very little driving in the motion picture.”
Ms. Deming says the trailer is a violation of the Michigan Consumer Protection Act. She says she wants the ticket price refunded, but also wants the public to know about what she calls “anti-Semitic” content (the movie features a Jewish gangster).
The abruptly violent, techno-driven film stars Ryan Gosling — who plays a movie stuntman by day and a getaway driver by night - through his romance and battles across sprawling Los Angeles.
The case may soon become a class-action lawsuit. The local news reported that Ms. Deming is inviting other disgruntled moviegoers to join her cause.
The theater where Ms. Deming saw the movie is offering refunds on tickets if viewers don’t like the film and has told the local news this “is an extremely frivolous lawsuit.”

Animal lover Ke$ha joins humane society
Hollywood party girl and pop star Ke$ha is teaming up with the Humane Society International, an offshoot of the Humane Society of the United States, as its first global ambassador. Ke$ha is no stranger to animals — her debut album is titled “Animal,” after all — and said she is looking forward to protecting them.
“My music is inspired by the freedom and primal beauty of animals and the natural world,” Ke$ha said in a Humane Society International press release. “I take this opportunity incredibly seriously because we are all animals.”
The Humane Society of the United States, which is an animal rights organization, not an animal welfare program, has come under fire in recent years. During the Michael Vick dog abuse trial, a story in the New York Times said the organization falsely advertised that money donated to the group would “care for the dogs seized in the Michael Vick case.”
Ke$ha is the first celebrity to work with the Humane Society International. Their first joint project is a petition for the European Union to ban sales of animal-tested cosmetics by 2013.
