The article “Ron Paul: Pull out troops worldwide” (Politics, Nov. 21) reads: “Despite his recent surge in the polls, presidential hopeful Rep. Ron Paul won’t back away from controversial positions that have in the past caused pundits and many Republicans to dismiss him as an unelectable fringe candidate.” While the article seems to disparage Mr. Paul for this stance, but I see it as a positive. With all the flip-flopping among the other GOP candidates, I see this as a refreshing honesty.

Another positive about Mr. Paul is that he seems to be the only candidate not completely bowing down to Israel.
