INDIANAPOLIS (AP) - The Indiana Fever has waived forward Joy Cheek, reducing its training camp roster to the mandated 15 players.

Cheek was Indiana’s third-round pick in 2010. She played in seven games, averaging 2.1 points and 0.4 rebounds. The 6-foot-1 Cheek played college ball at Duke.

The Fever reports to training camp May 16. Indiana’s first preseason game is May 24 at Minnesota, and rosters must be reduced to 11 before the June 2 season-opener against Chicago.
