VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA (AP) - Vancouver Canucks center Manny Malhotra has been cleared to play in the Stanley Cup finals.

Canucks coach Alain Vigneault made the announcement after practice Saturday.

Vigneault would not say if Malhotra will be in the lineup Wednesday night when they Canucks open the best-of-seven series at home against the Boston Bruins.

Malhotra has been sidelined since March 16 when he was hit in the left eye by a puck. He’s had several operations since.
