JACKSONVILLE, FLA. (AP) - The longtime agent for Tiger Woods is no longer running the golf division for IMG.

Two officials tell The Associated Press that negotiations for a contract renewal between Mark Steinberg and the Cleveland-based sports management company broke down on Tuesday and that Steinberg will no longer be with the company. His contract expires in June.

That could lead to Woods leaving IMG.

The officials spoke on condition of anonymity because they are not authorized to release information. They said Woods would be able to leave IMG and go with Steinberg. Woods has been with IMG since he turned pro in 1996, and Steinberg became his agent three years later.

Asked about the future of his business dealing earlier Tuesday, Woods said he was committed to IMG and Steinberg.
