SAN JOSE, CALIF. (AP) - San Jose forward Ryane Clowe returned to the lineup for Game 7 of the Sharks’ second-round series against the Detroit Red Wings after missing the previous game with an undisclosed upper body injury.

Clowe didn’t make the trip to Detroit for Game 6 but was put in the lineup by coach Todd McLellan for the series finale after participating in pregame warmups Thursday night. Clowe leads San Jose with 13 points this postseason.

The Red Wings will again be without Johan Franzen, who has missed the past two games with an injured left ankle. Franzen had 28 goals and 27 assists during the regular season. Kris Draper played in his place.

Detroit is looking to become the fourth NHL team to win a series after falling behind 3-0.
