LOS ANGELES (AP) - A probation report states Lindsay Lohan tested positive for alcohol use roughly a month after her release earlier this year from rehab. The report was released Wednesday after Lohan pleaded no contest to a misdemeanor charge of taking a necklace from a jewelry store.
The report also states authorities in Riverside County found evidence that Lohan drank alcohol while receiving treatment at the Betty Ford Center.
Despite the positive test, a probation officer stated Lohan appeared to be making progress with her treatment.
Lohan’s attorney, Shawn Holley, did not immediately return a phone message seeking comment.
The actress was sent to Betty Ford for three months of treatment last year after failing a drug screen. The report indicates Lohan’s failed test was for cocaine and amphetamines.
