GREEN BAY, WIS. (AP) - The Green Bay Packers have signed coach Mike McCarthy to a new multiyear contract less than a month after winning the Super Bowl.

Vice president and general manager Ted Thompson announced the move Friday. Terms were not disclosed.

The 47-year-old McCarthy is headed into his sixth year as head coach and has made the playoffs the past four seasons.

Including the playoffs, McCarthy is 53-34 with Green Bay.
