@-Text.noindent:After 26 months in office, President Obama has shown a clear pattern in his decision making. He acts quickly and perseveres to pass his ideological agenda items. Most of them are controversial, all of them increase our nation’s debt and taxes for consumers and businesses, and they give special priorities to unions and other Obama supporters.

@-Text.normal:When it comes to major decisions, we see procrastination from our president. When an urgent request was made for 40,000 troops in Afghanistan, he deliberated for months, finally agreeing to just 30,000. The delay resulted in lost lives and injuries.

Mr. Obama’s response to the 2009 protests in Iran was embarrassingly tardy and underwhelming. The president sent mixed messages regarding President Hosni Mubarak in Egypt and went into hibernation when the Libyan people protested against Moammar Gadhafi, and many were slaughtered for their dissent.

The reason for delaying a no-fly zone was based on the refusal of China and Russia to agree to this measure. No kidding? Those two countries are providing funds and technical support to forces trying to destroy our country.

The world knows America has always provided prompt technical, financial and military support to other nations in times of need. We support human rights, individual freedom and democracy. Meanwhile, Mr. Obama has his own priorities and they are not in keeping with the important role our country has always played in world events.
