NEW ORLEANS (AP) - The New Orleans Hornets say Chris Paul is probable for Saturday night’s game against the Sacramento Kings, which would mark the All-Star guard’s first action since being diagnosed with a mild concussion last Sunday.

Coach Monty Williams says Paul was examined by a neurologist on Friday afternoon, after which he was permitted to keep practicing without limitations.

Paul has participated fully in practices on Thursday and Friday, along with Saturday morning’s shootaround. Williams says doctors want Paul to have one last checkup before granting him clearance to play.

Paul, who is averaging 15.9 points and 9.6 assists, has missed two games since his hard collision with Cleveland’s Ramon Sessions.
