CLEVELAND (AP) - Texas Rangers pitcher Matt Harrison has been diagnosed with a kidney stone, but is still expected to make his next scheduled start on Tuesday.
The kidney stone was discovered during an exam at a Cleveland hospital Friday night and Harrison remained at the team’s hotel during Saturday’s game.
Harrison was scratched from Thursday’s start against the Indians because of a blister on the index finger of his left hand. The Rangers play in Detroit on Tuesday.
Harrison is 5-4 with a 3.26 ERA in 10 starts.
