PHOENIX (AP) - The Phoenix Suns chose power forward Markieff Morris of Kansas with the 13th pick in Thursday’s NBA draft.
Morris was picked ahead of brother Marcus, who many had thought would be the first of the twins drafted.
The 6-foot-9, 245-pound Suns pick averaged 8.5 points and 6.1 rebounds for the Jayhawks last season.
The Suns were spared the decision of whether to go for fan favorite Jimmer Fredette when the BYU super-scorer went at No. 10 to Milwaukee.
