D.R. Horton is building 263 single-family homes on sites of one-fifth of an acre at Hopewell’s Landing in Gainesville, a community with a swimming pool. Close to several shopping centers and golf courses, Hopewell’s Landing is two miles from Interstate 66.

Each home in this Prince William County community will include low-maintenance vinyl siding, professional landscaping and a two-car garage. Brick fronts are optional.

Inside, all five models feature four bedrooms; 2½ baths; a two-story foyer; 9-foot ceilings; a pedestal sink in the powder room; crown and chair-rail molding; 42-inch birch cabinets, a pantry and a separate eating space in the kitchen; ceramic tile tub and shower surrounds in the baths; a luxury master bath with a soaking tub and separate shower; a high-tech wiring system; and gas heat and hot water.

The homes have 2,120 to 2,894 finished square feet, with base prices from $359,990 to $389,990. Homeowner association fees are $76 per month.

The Piedmont model, with 2,712 square feet, is priced from $384,990. This home features a two-story foyer with stairs to the upper and lower levels.

The formal dining room opens to the foyer and includes a tray ceiling and columns. The living room also has columns.

Across the back of this home are a study, a powder room, a family room with columns and an open breakfast area and center-island kitchen. This level also has a mudroom with a closet.

Upstairs, the master suite has two walk-in closets and a luxury bath. Three more bedrooms, a second full bath and a laundry room complete this level.

Buyers can choose an alternate floor plan with a loft instead of the second bedroom, and they can add a third bath to the upper level.

Options include finished lower levels, room extensions, morning rooms, fireplaces, a first-floor bedroom, extra baths and tray ceilings.
