METAIRIE, LA. (AP) - The New Orleans Saints have agreed to terms with two more draft picks today, first with former Alabama Heisman Trophy running back Mark Ingram and then Illinois linebacker Martez Wilson.
Ingram arrived at Saints headquarters on Saturday morning and walked out to practice in his No. 28 jersey and holding his helmet. Wilson’s agreement occurred during practice.
Terms have not been released for the deal with Ingram, who was taken 28th overall with the Saints’ second of two first-round draft picks.
The agreements come amid a flurry of activity for the Saints, who agreed to a handful of free agent deals Friday night, including a four-year, $28.5 million contract with Pro Bowl strong safety Roman Harper.
Still unsigned is Saints top overall draft choice, defensive end Cam Jordan.
