The June 2009 Honduran Supreme Court order to arrest then-president Manuel Zelaya in accordance with the Honduran constitution was a blow to international socialism. President Obama, who seems to share Mr. Zelaya’s socialist ideology, decided to support the corrupt, leftist leader of Honduras and unjustly take action on his behalf.

Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton and Ambassador Hugo Llorens, along with the Castro brothers and Hugo Chavez, took diplomatic steps and reprisals against the Honduran people and their constitution. After Honduran military leaders decided to deport Mr. Zelaya, Mr. Obama and Mr. Llorens took action against the Honduran military - halting military assistance - and joined the Castro brothers, Mr. Chavez and other world socialist brothers in calling the lawful response of the Honduran government a right-wing military coup.

Last month, the Organization of American States (OAS) released an extensive investigative report that, after many months of research by an impartial truth commission, serves as an indictment of the former Honduran president as the provocateur of the international crisis. The evidence collected by the OAS against Mr. Zelaya and his backers, including Mr. Obama, is overwhelming.

In my opinion, Mr. Obama demonstrated his support of deadly socialist-Marxist ideology and anti-American values instead of representing freedom in the world and our Constitution. He demonstrated no knowledge, experience or competence in Latin American affairs but supported socialism, against which the U.S. military has been fighting in Europe, Korea and Vietnam for generations on behalf of the American people.
