Silly me - I thought that in America, we had two houses of Congress that could vote on legislation.

Instead of allowing a vote on the debt-limit issue, Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid, Nevada Democrat, won’t even bring it to the floor. He swore to uphold the Constitution and now he is acting, as he always does, like some Third World dictator. If the Senate holds a vote and it doesn’t pass, well, that’s America in action. But what Mr. Reid is doing is typical of the “Obamacrat,” Chicago-style politics. What a shame he is allowed to pull this off.
