SNL alumna says Obama is basically Hitler
“Saturday Night Live” alum Victoria Jackson wants you to know that President Obama is just like Hitler.
In a column written for WorldNetDaVictoriaily called “The 3 scariest things about Obama,” Miss Jackson writes that Obama is a socialist “(like Hitler),” controls the media “(like Hitler)” and has the right to form a private army “(like Hitler)” according to a provision in the health care reform bill.
The private army she refers to in the health care bill is actually a “reserve corps” of medical professionals who would act in medical emergencies and be involved with disease prevention.
Other things Hitler and Mr. Obama have in common, according to Jackson:
• their fathers were communists and alcoholics;
• they both had white mothers;
• they moved often as young people;
• they changed their names;
• they both gave big speeches in large venues;
• they both had youth groups;
• they both “pretended to be ’Christian’ “; and
• they both advocated for population control.
Unlike Mr. Obama, however, Hitler used his private army to kill his opposition. But Jackson is apparently worried something will happen to her at the hands of Obama’s private army of health professionals.
“[Hitler] killed his political opposition with his private army … Well, I am Obama’s political opposition. That’s why I am concerned,” she writes.
Former Nazi teen singers ’pretty liberal now
Most teens and pre-teens go through passing phases. For Prussian Blue songbirds Lamb and Lynx Gaede, Nazism was a short-lived childhood interest.
In an exclusive interview with The Daily, the 19-year-old twins revealed that they have abandoned most of their highly publicized white nationalist beliefs, which infuriated the nation nearly six years ago when the girls were 13, donning Hitler shirts, and promoting white power through their band.
“Im not a white nationalist anymore,” Lamb told the iPad-only news publication in her first interview in half a decade. “My sister and I are pretty liberal now.”
Lambs twin sister Lynx, who once expressed a desire to preserve the Caucasian race, claims to be a huge fan of diversity now. “Personally, I love diversity,” Lynx seconded. “Im stoked that we have so many different cultures. I think its amazing and it makes me proud of humanity every day that we have so many different places and people.”
But the Bakersfield, Calif., girls werent always so “stoked” about people of different races. The very name of their band, Prussian Blue, pays homage to the girls German background and blue eyes. In 2006, the Gaedes sparked outrage with their song “Hate for Hate: Lamb Near the Lane.” The song has eyebrow-raising lyrics, such as, “If the white men wont battle for life and race, the women and children, the terror will face.”
Lamb co-wrote the tune with late pen pal David Lane, a member of the white nationalist group The Order who was jailed for his involvement in the killing of Jewish television show host Alan Berg. In 2005, Lynx said she wanted to keep “[her] people” white.
“Were proud of being white, we want to keep being white,” Lynx told ABC six years ago. “We want our people to stay white … we dont want to just be, you know, a big muddle. We just want to preserve our race.”
The Gaede twins, who have publicly questioned aspects of the Holocaust, have chalked up their earlier views to ignorance, naivete, and a cloistered upbringing. Regardless of their shift in opinions, the girls havent totally removed themselves from their white nationalist identity.
When it comes to the Holocaust, Lynx told The Daily, “I think certain things happened. I think a lot of the stories got misconstrued. I mean, yeah, Hitler wasn’t the best, but Stalin wasn’t, Churchill wasn’t. I disagree with everybody at that time.”
Lamb said its time for the world to move on from the Holocaust already.
“I just think everyone needs to frickin get over it,” Lamb said. “Thats what I think.”
Patrick Kennedy, Teddy’s son, gets hitched in Hyannis Port
Former U.S. Rep. Patrick Kennedy, Rhode Island Democrat, tied the knot with Amy Petitgout on Friday at the Kennedy family compound in Hyannisport, Mass.
The 44-year-old longtime bachelor exchanged vows with his sweetheart, a schoolteacher, in a ceremony officiated by Supreme Court Justice Stephen Breyer. Patrick, the son of the late Sen. Edward M. Kennedy, wore a navy blazer, white pants and a blue striped tie.
“Im the luckiest guy, shes the best I could have ever imagined and Im lucky to be able to share this day with her,” Mr. Kennedy told reporters on his wedding day.
Though Mr. Kennedys famous father couldnt be around for the nuptials, the groom says he felt his dads presence at the gathering.
“I feel like my dads kind of orchestrating everything from up above, and hes doing a great job so far, and hes telling us get out on his sailboat and enjoy the ocean like he always did,” Mr. Kennedy told the Cape Cod Times.
According to the Times, Justice Breyer had some trouble entering the compound because police officials didnt recognize him upon his arrival in a Volvo station wagon. They were quick to acknowledge their mistake, apologize, and let Justice Breyer pass through, reports the Times.
Before the wedding, Mr. Kennedy joined family members and his future in-laws for a sailing adventure on his fathers boat, Mya. The groom and brother Edward M. Kennedy Jr. were seen strolling down the boardwalk at the Hyannisport Yacht Club.
“Im taking the groom out for a little sail this afternoon to get him all relaxed and ready for the ceremony later,” Ted Jr. told reporters on Eugenia Fortes Beach.
