Since its North American debut, the Suzuki Kizashi has earned significant praise from automotive media and consumers. With the release of AutoPacific’s 15th annual Vehicle Satisfaction Awards (VSA), that praise has been validated once again with the 2011 Suzuki Kizashi registering highest in total overall satisfaction among all new purchased or leased midsize cars sold in the United States for the second consecutive year.

“This is another great accomplishment for Suzuki’s product development team,” said Steve Younan, American Suzuki’s director of product planning and marketing. “We are proud of the Kizashi, and this recognition from our owners remains a strong testament to the hard work that our engineers and designers have put into this vehicle.”

The Kizashi is Suzuki’s most significant entry to date in the competitive midsize sedan segment. With its Eurocentric handling, high level of standard content and a sub-$20,000 window sticker, Suzuki’s sport sedan is resonating with an audience looking for entry-level luxury without the near-luxury price point. Propelled by a four cylinder, 2.4-liter engine producing 185 horsepower, and connected to a six-speed manual or optional CVT, the Kizashi builds on the global success enjoyed by the company that produces the world-renowned Swift, SX4 Crossover, Grand Vitara compact SUV as well as a celebrated lineup of motorcycles, ATVs and marine engines.
