OPINION:
President Obama says ending tax breaks for billionaires and big corporations has to be part of any budget-cutting plan.
If that happens, I want to hear from Mr. Obama himself that he and Congress will guarantee the American public that these corporations will not pass on the costs they incur for ending the tax breaks to us, the American people.
Mr. Obama and the Democrats think these companies should pay more taxes but don’t have any power to stop them from passing those taxes on to taxpayers. The American people should demand that Mr. Obama and the Democrats guarantee that this won’t happen and put it in writing.
