CLEVELAND (AP) - The Cleveland Cavaliers say forward Leon Powe had surgery to repair a torn meniscus in his right knee and will miss about six weeks.
Powe had the successful procedure Friday after an MRI exam revealed the injury, which was originally believed to be a bone bruise.
Powe overcame a torn ACL in his left knee while playing for Boston during the 2009 playoffs to play 20 games with the Cavaliers in 2009-10. He has appeared in 14 games this season, averaging 5.0 points.
