Our national debt has been increased by $3.4 trillion under President Obama during two years in office. The new, $14.1 trillion debt is the greatest threat to America’s security, according to our military leaders.

Most of Mr. Obama’s spending has been in the public sector and to benefit his supporters while dismantling our security and the private sector. Whereas China has increased its defense budget by 464 percent during the past 20 years, we have increased ours by just 31 percent during the same time.

Our national defense has been put on the chopping block, while China and Russia have increased their presence in the Middle East, Asia, Africa and Latin America. Russia has held joint exercises with Venezuela, threatened to put nuclear bombers in Cuba and sent the destroyer Admiral Chabanenko through the Panama Canal to dock at our former Rodman Naval Base. Mr. Obama has “reset” diplomacy with Russia to sign the New START, which leaves the Russians’ nuclear arsenal superior to ours, and he has undermined our Polish and Czech allies by withdrawing our anti-missile defense system. He has groveled before our adversaries and plans to cut 20,000 Marines, kill the Expeditionary Fighting Vehicle and delay the F-35B Marine variant of the Joint Strike Fighter.

Mr. Obama has sent messages of weakness and retreat instead of defending our nation around the globe. His promises to cut big-government spending and support the private sector for job creation are unlikely to alter his affinity for the liberal ideology of Marxist socialism, which is destroying our security and economy.
