CLEVELAND (AP) - Shockingly fast, the Cleveland Cavaliers have gone from first to worst.

The Cavaliers _ the NBA’s best team during the regular season the past two years _ have lost 14 straight games and 24 of 25. At 8-33, they have the league’s poorest record. The losing began during the summer when LeBron James left as a free agent and hasn’t slowed.

Making matters worse, the Cavaliers have been ravaged by injuries, forcing first-year coach Byron Scott to play rookies and D-Leaguers. No team has ever finished with the worst record one season after having the best, and unless things change quickly, the Cavaliers will make history they never imagined.
